Supervision and Consultation Services

Briah Tarapacki LPC-S strongly believes in supervision and consultation, not only achieving clinician longevity in the mental health field; but a career of professional quality. Compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and burnout are the cancers of the mental health profession and it is imperative to create a community that supports you as you navigate the hardships. Briah began her professional career as a crisis therapist then navigated to general mental health outpatient work with all ages through a non-profit state organization. In 2020, Briah shifted her career to private practice where she recongized the strengths in clinicians managing their appropriate sized caseloads and having quality of life outside of the therapy chair. Briah noted the decrease turnover rate of clinicians and the positive impact this had on client’s mental health improving. Briah opened her own practice in 2022 shortly after becoming independently licensed. She made it her mission to support associate level clinicians in building their practice and not feeling guilty for also enjoying their life outside of the caseload. Briah specializes in working with teens, adults, and couples. She primarily utilizes CBT, IFS, DBT, and EMDR as her therapeutic modalities. She primarily works with populations struggling with eating/body image concerns, trauma, perinatal/postpartum, relationship concerns, anxiety, and depression. She approaches her clinicians in the same manner she does with her clients which is a strength based, humanistic approach with a sprinkle of humor.

• $120 per 60 minute individual in office, virtual, or phone supervision

• $60 per 30 minute individual in office, virtual, or phone supervision

• $50 crisis/emergent virtual or phone supervision staffing

• Minimum of 1 supervision per month required by AZBBHE

If you become independently contracted as a clinician with The Healing Peace Counseling then individual and group supervision is provided to you at no cost. Typically contracted clinicians average about 4 supervisions a month. Reach out if you are interested in becoming an independent contractor with THPC otherwise refer to section below for supervision outside of being a contracted clinician.
